Seasonal rawhide traders in trouble

Seasonal traders are in deep trouble due to low prices of rawhide of sacrificial animals. The traders are facing huge losses as they cannot sell rawhide to wholesalers. Wholesalers are showing reluctance to buy rawhide for ‘fund crisis.’ Insiders in the tannery industry fear that a huge quantity of rawhide may get rotten and may be smuggled out of the country through borders due to low prices of rawhide. Seasonal rawhide traders claim to have suffered huge losses as they are not getting fair prices of rawhide they have bought. Tanners said they are collecting rawhide a little bit slowly as they have fund crisis. Small traders said they have invested in buying rawhide from across the country and now they are facing difficulties in selling them to tanners. Even tanners are not willing to pay the government-fixed prices of salted rawhide. Many tanners stopped buying rawhide from them showing personal problems. Under the circumstances, traders who came to the capital from across the country fell into a deep crisis as they were compelled to sell rawhide at throwaway prices.
